Renewed Life for Greyhounds

Sparkey came to live with us in 2001, his age at the time was unknown, but we were told he was three to four years old. We were blessed to have Sparkey for 10 full years. He lived a happy life of running after bikes and kids in his fenced yard, sleeping on his couch and playing. Chasing the neighbor dog, Joey, up and down the fence. Sparkey was always a pretty healthy dog, but a few months ago the inevitable happened, Sparkey's heart began to fail on him. Running and walks became more and more difficult, and Sparkey was weaker everyday. Sparkey eventually lost his vision and his fight to go on. Sparkey left us on October 13, 2011. He was a great dog and we were blessed to have him. Rest in Peace, Sparkey dog. Love and kisses, your loving family....
