Nick |
Nick was our first dog and we will miss him so much. I remember going to the rescue with my friend, Beth to meet some of the greyhounds. He was so calm and quiet, I knew I wanted him right away. Dave and I went back and "officially" claimed him as ours. He had just had surgery that day so we couldn't take him home, but he tried to follow us to our car. We knew he was ours. He had the goofiest ears that went in different directions all the time. Nick loved to throw around his stuffies, I think he had about twenty of them. He loved to finish off a bowl of ice cream and snuggle up with us in bed. He was so gentle and good when our kids came along. He let them climb on him and tolerated the baby grabs of fur and the endless poking. He went with the flow and was so good all the time. There is a hole in our family since he has gone on.
