Jaguar
|
On January 11, 2006 Jaguar passed on. He had been happy and loving but slowly winding down over the last few weeks. He bravely walked into the vet under his own power and dropped to the floor never to awaken. He was so strong and so willing to please and made this last trip easier for his loving human parents. Wiley (Varano) and Congo seem to miss him nearly as much as we. He was our 5th Grey and probably the most magnificent and trouble free of the 5 we have welcomed to our lives. We will miss the great racer and friend. We have found that we never get used to their passing nor tire of the need to continue our mission of fostering the difficult to adopt.. The pain of loss is never lessened but one must remember the old Garth Brooks song that says “Our lives are better left to chance, I could have missed the pain But I'd of had to miss the dance.” What a great, yet short dance we had with Jags and we are so grateful that he joined us for it. |
