Gusto Blue
|
(March 7, 1999 – November 19, 2007) We called him All Night Gusto, Gusto Blue, Gussy, Toe, Hunk-a-Lunka, Big Dog in the Country, Big Horse, but he was Pure Love – the alpha dog, the leader of the pack. Gusto's miracle in overcoming intestinal lymphoma came to an end on November 19th, 2007......we are reeling here with sadness and the loud silence, with tears for his loss, and a smile for his life….… we were privileged to be responsible for his everyday care from his first breath at birth to his last, and honored to join him on this journey of life..............hug your pets every day with GUSTO, as life is often too short, - 8 years, 8 months, 12 days was not enough, however 100 years would not have been enough either, ........... we were blessed with the gift of 8 months, 17 days "living life with Gusto", given to us by Dr. Havenga at the Animal Clinic, the education and skills of the staff at MSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital, everyone that in any way touched Gusto, and by the blessing of God for this special dog!!! In eternal gratitude for living with Gusto, Steve & Lynda Hegg & Mini, Josie, Jake, Sunday, "Do not believe in miracles, rely on them!" |
