Bette |
Bette was our first greyhound. Her track name was Jewel and we decided to changed it to Bette, after Bette Midler, because of her spirited personality. And boy did that name fit her! She was large and in charge! Always wanting to be around people and she certainly left a lasting impression on them, because of her size and personality. We lost Bette on 10/28/07 five months after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma. She was incredibly brave and spirited throughout. We have learned so much from her and Pacino that we hope to carry on these lessons to others in the future. Thank you Bette for 9 great years and say hello to Pacino for us!
